Nice towels for some purposes. I wanted these for the back door to dry off the dogs. They do NOT absorb. I finally gave up on these and bought new ones.Love the color. Disappointed that it's not very absorbent. I used this towel to dry my dog. My dog was still very wet & my towel was very wet too.I expect it will absorb water but it didn’t.. wont soak up water from my petI can use on towel for two Maltese dogs. They really soak up the water. Love themNot the best for absorbency, but probably as close as you'll get. The towels are microfibre soft and easy to wash. I don't like the feel of them myself, but our puppy does.Towels have held up to washing, and to use (something that others complained about in their reviews), BUT they don't seem to dry my dog as advertised. Example: Before these towels I would use 3 Beach towels & 1 regular towel to try & get her dry (BTW: I have a Pointer) and she would STILL not be very dry. Post these towels: I use BOTH of these towels and 1 beach towel and she is STILL just as wet as she was when I would use JUST beach towels & a regular towel. Granted not using a total of 4 towels is an improvement, but truthfully I would prefer to use 1 or 2 towels TOTAL. I did not use fabric softener, or a dryer sheet in the dryer & the towels were washed before 1st use.This may be great small dogs but it is soaked too quick for my 50 lb. Lab. Wish it was a little longer. I’ve still use these, but o got human towels for dog. I wash in free & clear detergent and they absorb well. No dryer sheets it decreases absorption.I bought the 2 pack in pink, I took them out of package & washed them by themselves on delicate, I was a bit disappointed to see one of the towels had marks on it, not worth the hassle of a return. I like that they are a thinner material, I have not had the opportunity to try them out yet, but they are as described so I’m sure they will work well.It did not work as well as I hoped. Not that absorbent. I have a My Doggy Place - Ultra Absorbent Microfiber Chenille Dog Bath Towel with Hand pockets and that is fantastic but wanted something bigger for my 100lb dog. Wish I could get the Microfiber chenille dog towel in a bigger size as I love it.Not sure what happened but these are not absorbent. I have a large dog with thick fur and she remained wet.
