It's heavier than I expected, but I don't care about that. It's not heavy like, say chain. I use it as a choker tree saver on a Warn 12000 attached to a F250 Superduty. As a choker it is rated for 17000 lbs, but that should be more than I will need. If I use it with a snatch block, I will rig a basket and then it is rated for more than 40000 lbs.
