I used these twice when out in below 32 weather. The first time I was walking for a Christmas lighting display. Was really comfortable. The second was watching cranes in a blind. Did pretty well, but wished the toe warmer was a whole foot warmer.I bought these warmers to use during the rodeo I volunteered for, because we were required to work outside. Every day or night that it was cold I used these warmers. The warmers kept me warm, without them I couldn't have tolerated the cold weather. Also, they stay warm for hours, especially when wearing gloves or thick socks with them.Baby it’s cold outside, uh uh uhhh not this time Dean Martin and definitely not when you have these guysThey work amazingly well - last all day - much longer then I would have imagined - kept my hands warm all day - I work outside also good for arthritis . Kept my hands from aches & stiffness — must have for winter - way worth itWish it came with more toe warmers, even though they only sort of worked. I think after a while they stop working and need to be re-exposed to air to get hot again. The hand warmers worked pretty well in 19 degree weather all day, with some mid-day shaking.This pack of warmers came in handy soo many times! Its been pretty cold in Cali (to us lol) especially at night. My daughter refuses to take them but I sneak them into her backpack. Every time I slip in a new one the old one is gone. They work so well and they stay hot for a long time. The toe warmers didn't work with the shoes I wear but I used them by sticking them in my jacket pocket. I will say that air and shaking kinda activates it but it can take a minute to heat up. I'm buying them again ASAP. They're great to just have in the house in case of the need.I loved having the flexibility of the value pack with different sizes/uses for our family for a weekend up on the Canadian border. They work quick and are easy to throw an extra pair in your pocket in case anyone else forgot theirs :)Keeps you nice and warm when tent camping, especially the large warmers.I got this pack a couple years ago on a trip to Banff. Overall, they worked really worked well during my time there.I had one incident where one of the toe warmers burned my foot even tho I followed the application as directed - I was walking around outside and it suddenly got way too hot, and I had to sit down take my boot off and readjust it. Wasn't fun, especially since I had my giant Sorel's on. I was a bit wary of wearing them after that.I had so many of these left over from my trip and I was looking forward to using them when I got back but after a couple years the unopened ones didn't even work anymore (despite expiry date being 2022). I was pretty disappointed and ended up throwing out a lot of them.I would recommend buying this pack if you plan on using them within a short timeframe, but otherwise it seems like they're better bought as needed.There's a great mix of warmers in here. You get:- 5 pairs of hand warmers (10 single hand warmers total). Each pair of two is about 45 grams.- 5 "body and hand" warmers. This is basically one extra large warmer. Each one is about 55 grams, so just one of these has more of the warming mixture than a pair of the smaller hand warmers. This warmer also lasts a few hours longer, and it feels like it generates heat faster, probably due to the larger mixture. The heat output of this bigger one is similar to: I got this because I was about to be on a 14+ hour flight, just got my period, and knew I was going to be cramping. Obviously a hot water bottle wasn't going to do, and I've used this enough on film sets to know it's the most perfect thing for heat while mobile. I also got injured on my trip and this was helpful as a heat pack to alternate with a cold pack to reduce swelling. You get so much in this that I'll have lots of little warmers perfect for winter time.Different sizes! My boyfriend was already a huge fan of the original HotHands packets for your hands inside your gloves! I was so excited to find this combo pack for him to use with the HotHands Socks and Gloves I ordered for him as well as sticking the Body sized ones inside his coat! Snowmobiling and Hunting in the cold weather were much more tolerable this past winter thanks to these awesome little heaters!These little things stay warm way longer than I expected. Way better than dollar-store hand warmers. I opened one at 10am and it was still warm 12 hours later. Mind you, that was left out on a counter, not outside on a cold day, but that's still pretty darned impressive.
